As temperatures drop, it’s important to stay as warm as possible with clothing, blankets, and hand warmers. Keep doors and windows tightly closed and cover yourself if you need to go out. With a wind chill of minus 20 degrees in some places, frostbite can occur within as little as 10 minutes.
In the event of a power outage, it is a good idea to save the remaining battery in your phone for emergencies.
