SB19 Clinches Favorite Asian Act Award at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024
Pinoy pride soared as SB19 clinched the title of Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024, announced on Wednesday, July 17.
Establishing themselves as the reigning “P-Pop Kings,” SB19 triumphed over K-pop sensations ENHYPEN, Malaysian soloist Iman Troye, Japan’s NiziU, and Indonesian star Tiara Andini.
Taking to social media, the group—composed of Pablo, Stell, Josh, Justin, and Felip—expressed heartfelt gratitude to their fans and Nickelodeon.
“Thank you, A’TIN and @Nickelodeon! Winning Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is a dream come true for us and our homeland, The Philippines. Your unwavering support means the world,” they shared in an emotional caption.
In Nickelodeon Asia’s Instagram video revealing the winner, SB19 members also conveyed their pride in representing the Philippines.
“It’s a tremendous honor to represent our country,” remarked Justin.
“We are deeply grateful for your love and support,” added Felip.
SB19 now joins the ranks of esteemed Filipino acts recognized at the Kids’ Choice Awards, following in the footsteps of Charice Pempengco who claimed the same honor in 2012, triumphing over notable regional talents.
SB19 continues to make waves with their latest comeback track ‘Moonlight,’ which has sparked significant buzz online.
Encore telecasts of the awards ceremony are scheduled for July 18 at 11:30 a.m. and July 20 at 12 p.m.
