Pepperoni roll’s Gabriel Morris arrested after chasing employee at Niles gas station: report

Niles, Ohio (WKBN) – A man with a pepperoni roll in hand has been arrested following reports he was chasing an employee at a local gas station.

According to police reports, police were dispatched to Niles Get Go following reports that 29-year-old Gabriel Morris was chasing an employee.

Morris was eating a pepperoni roll when police arrived and was “extremely upset” that police were talking to him.

The officer told Morris he was under arrest, but Morris pulled away and hit the officer on the head with his fist, the report said. Officers were able to push Morris to the ground and arrest him under control.

Morris was incarcerated in Trumbull County Jail for assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and trespassing.

Morris appeared in court Monday morning and pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, according to the court.

He was fined a total of $750 and sentenced to 120 days in prison.
