Pa. State Department: Voters must hand in their ballots to ensure they are counted.state

Due to possible postal service delays, the Pennsylvania State Department on Tuesday urged residents voting by mail or absentee ballot to hand in their ballots as soon as possible.

“It’s time to return your vote-by-mail ballot so that it arrives by the 8:00 p.m. deadline on Election Day. Don’t wait until the last minute,” Acting Secretary of State Lee Chapman said. “Hand in your vote-by-mail ballot now to your county elections office or approved drop-off location to ensure your votes are counted.”
