Center County ski resort renames slops before Rose Bowl.

Center County, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) – For over 50 years, skiers and snowboarders have headed to Center County ski resorts wanting to traverse the highest slopes and look for ski resorts in Utah.

In the upcoming Rose Bowl game between the Pennsylvania Nittany Lions and the Utah Utahs, Tassie Mountain Ski Resort will show its support by renaming the Utah Slope.

On New Year’s Eve, just one day after the Rose Bowl showdown, Utah’s Mountain Run moves to Pennsylvania for a limited time.

“For more than 50 years, Penn Staters have found the best views of Beaver Stadium and Happy Valley from the top of the slope named Utah.” A press release from the resort on Wednesday read:

According to the resort site, Utah’s slopes are rated “Level 8-9”. This is because the skier has to “work on a high degree of technique” while going down the entire mountain. The ski resort is located at his 301 Bear Meadows Road in Ballsburg.

The Tassie Mountain Ski Lift operates until 5 PM on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Open until 9pm on January 2nd
