PITTSBURGH (WKBN) – People trying to land or depart at Pittsburgh International Airport may have experienced some delays Saturday night due to some technical issues, airport officials said.
Some flights at Pittsburgh International Airport were affected by a communication issue in the air traffic control tower, said Matt Nystein, airport public relations manager.
The issue was resolved around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, but Pittsburgh officials are urging passengers to check with the airline to see if the issue affects their travel plans.You can also check on the airport website.
Additionally, Southwest Airlines experienced an unrelated technical issue earlier in the day, affecting operations at Pittsburgh International Airport.
