For those lucky enough to head out this weekend, gas prices are down this holiday compared to last year when the national average was more than $4 a gallon, according to AAA. But even with cheaper prices, car travel this holiday will fall below the pre-pandemic number of about 500,000 travelers.

If you and your family are heading from the Youngstown area to Geneva-on-the-Lake, the cheapest gas station is the Gateway Gas Mart on Market Street for $3.27 per gallon, according to Gas Buddy.
If you’re traveling to Sandusky, the best place to go is the Shell Gas Station on Rolland on South Broadway Avenue for $3.29 per gallon.
Heading out for a long road trip to Ocean City, Maryland? Stop by Sheetz in Hagerstown, Maryland. Gasoline is $3.25 per gallon.
