Veterans in the Susquehanna Valley are getting support.Zeredatha-White Rose Lodge and Mr. Sandy’s Homeless Veteran’s Center hosted a collection drive. Community members were invited to come out and drop off essential items like clothing and non-perishable food items.”We do still have a growing crisis of homeless veterans in the nation… we ask our communities to remember our veterans, they’ve sacrificed so much for our country that we can sacrifice for them to help them get through tough times,” President of Mr. Sandy’s Homeless Veterans Center Sandie Walker said.This was the sixth consecutive year the two organizations have partnered to host the collection drive.
