Surprise Appearance, Smokey Robinson and Wawa Coffee – The Wake Up Call
Gov. Josh Shapiro started his administration with a star-studded inaugural bash on Tuesday night.
Rapper Wiz Khalifa, Motown icon Smokey Robinson, and indie rock band Mount Joy headline Pennsylvania’s make-it-flashy event, which drew nearly 3,000 attendees. rice field. Philly’s own Meek Mill gave a surprise performance before introducing his ‘friend’, his Shapiro.

And after watching performances of Robinson’s “Clown’s Tears” and Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares,” many attendees murmured about the event’s opulence, comparing it to the inauguration of a U.S. president.
Shapiro’s inauguration on Tuesday secured a spot as a national politician that many political insiders see as a future presidential candidate.
Despite the evening’s fanfare, Pennsylvanians still don’t know who has the bills. It said it was funded entirely by an unnamed private donor, rather than by a private donor.
Shapiro’s inaugural committee used event management giant Weymouth Watson to organize Tuesday’s bash. According to its website, the company cites major political groups and foundations as past clients, including the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Obama Foundation.
