Rivers Casino employee fired, charged after brawl in dining area

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) — Three employees at Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino have been fired and charged after a brawl broke out in the employee dining area, state police report.

Pittsburgh natives Alfonso Pittrell, 57, Daniel Jones, 43, and Mackenzie Davenport, 22, have been charged in connection with an incident at a casino on March 18, police said.

A state police report alleged that an employee dining area brawl saw Davenport shake a lunch tray before Pitrel threw a punch at Jones. According to the Troopers, Jones and Pittrell fought until security pulled them apart.

No injuries were reported, but troopers said all three employees had been fired and removed from the casino premises by security.

All three appeared for harassment and disorderly conduct through the Pittsburgh City Court.
