Pennsylvania, Ohio residents indicted on federal drug charges | WTAJ

Johnstown, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) — Residents of Pennsylvania and Ohio have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of violating the federal drug laws, Acting U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti announced today.

An indictment named Raheem Hirst, 25, of Garfield Heights, Ohio. Samantha Jones, 40,
Arnold, Pennsylvania. Leah Jackson, 37, from New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

According to the indictment, from September 2022 to March 2, 2023, Hurst, Jones, and Jackson conspired to distribute and distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine mixture.

By law, the three face a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of $10 million, or both. Under federal sentencing guidelines, the actual sentencing imposed is based on the seriousness of the crime and the defendant’s previous criminal record.
