Pennsylvania gas prices could be cut in December
(WTAJ) – People in Pennsylvania shouldn’t have to worry about gas prices rising in the summer and can probably expect to pay less later this year.
If you are a UGI Utilities, Inc. customer, come visit us. You may save 10% or more on your heating bill in December.
Customers using 73.1 hundred cubic feet (ccf) of natural gas per month will have their bill reduced from $114.13 to $100.07 per month. A person using 28.77 thousand cubic feet (Mcf) per month would decrease from $360.88 to $306.53. For a typical retail customer using 92.39 Mcf a month, the bill would be $1,097.04 to $922.48.
“Natural gas prices have fallen in recent months, a welcome relief for customers buying gas,” UGI Chief Regulatory Officer Paul Sickman said in a news release. “Natural gas offers a clean, reliable and locally produced energy option.”
UGI must file an annual notification with the Pennsylvania Public Works Commission on June 1 before the changes take effect. Your current gas price will not change. For more information, please call 1-800-276-2722.
