Christmas Performance Opportunity for Volunteer Musicians: The Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church will host a Christmas concert on Sunday afternoon, December 18th, featuring the GSPC Chancel Choir and the GSPC Community Concert Band. Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church has announced a bag sale on Friday, October 28 from 9am to 6pm, followed by a bag sale on Saturday, October 29, and a fall rumage sale from 8am to 11pm . The cleanliness of adults and children, including indoor and outdoor clothing, handbags, socks, scarves, gloves, hats and shoes. Small household items and clean linens (blankets, sheets towels, tablecloths, curtains) are also included. Also included are jigsaw puzzles, stationery, craft materials, children’s toys, games and books, and jewelry of all kinds. Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church organizes and conducts Mission Week each fall and spring. During this week, members of the congregation and the wider community will have the opportunity to dedicate time to support community service efforts. The 7th Fall Mission Week runs from October 30th to November 5th. You will have the opportunity to support one of our five Community Service Organizations. There are hands-on volunteer activities for all ages for those who want to volunteer as a group or individually at home, at a mission organization location, or at church on weekday evenings or weekends. Organizations include: Caring for Friends — Volunteer for her group cooking day, which prepares meals for frail and isolated homebound people. Habitat for Humanity — Volunteers help build new homes for local families who can’t afford to own one. Keystone Opportunity Center — Volunteer activity that packs perishables into boxes and loads them into customer vehicles for those in need of food assistance. Gamma Services — Donate non-perishable food, disposable pans and grocery gift cards for Thanksgiving Day bags for underserved families. Manna on Main Street — Donations of food, beverages, household items, and utensils to help individuals in need.
