Salem Township, Pennsylvania. — One man died Friday night when heavy equipment tumbled into the embankment of his township in Salem.
Thomas Rinehimer, 42, died of multiple trauma following a reported accident at Block 1600 of US Route 11 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters responded to a call for technical rescue after a Rinehimer-operated front-end loader was reported to have fallen over a 100-foot embankment.
Lucerne County Coroner Jill Matthews said the death was ruled to be accidental.
