The statement said the victim learned about Terrego’s past, including a prison sentence for previous abuse of women.
The statement said Terrego was furious that he had been drinking on the night of the concert and that the shirt he had bought at the concert was missing.
After the concert, Terrego threatens and beats the victim, and at one point she manages to get out of the car they were in and escape, but Terrego catches her and takes her to a hotel.

Maro said Terrego was upset that the t-shirt he had received at the concert was missing and thought it had been stolen.
She said the video shows the paranoia that captured Telego that night. She also said the victim was able to leave the hotel room three times, but Telego told him not to leave the hotel.
According to Maro, the client was shocked when he saw the video.
“He was crying the whole time,” she said. “He said, ‘I can’t believe I said that and he did that.'”
“If he was sane, he wouldn’t have done this,” Maro said.
Judge Klihibaum said he hoped the victim would recover from that night.
“What this victim went through is breathtaking,” Judge Klihibaum said.
