Allentown, PA (WHTM) — Nature can have a funny sense of humor.
Dorney Park posted a photo of a bald eagle on the track of the Steel Force roller coaster. The coaster has a red track, the same color as the Kansas City Chiefs, who the Philadelphia Eagles face off in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Park posted a photo with the caption, “We only have one chief here, but we’re happy to own the red one this weekend.”
Steel Force opened in the park in 1997 as one of the fastest and longest roller coasters on the East Coast at 205 feet high and a top speed of 75 mph.
The park is also submitting plans for a new attraction near the land lot where the previous Stinger Coaster was.
That coaster was removed after the 2017 season.
