Community at Central Pa Heart Walks
State College, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) — All community members in Central Pennsylvania come together on Saturday to support the American Heart Association through the annual Central Pennsylvania Heart Walk.
The annual walk raises funds for CPR training programs, childhood heart disease research, and adults suffering from heart disease. Organizers hope that each year, it inspires people to take a closer look at their heart health.
“Think about the daily life choices you’re making: eating healthier, exercising, going out,” said Amy Adams, president of Central Pa Heart Walk. . “You also know the information we share with the community about getting regular visits to primary care physicians and primary care physicians.

Another Heart Walk will be held in Johnstown on October 22nd.
