ASK Foods of Palmyra, Pennsylvania recalls some 30-ounce containers of Wegman’s Penne Rigate Mozzarella Salad due to undeclared milk allergen

(WHTM) — ASK Foods of Palmyra, Pennsylvania is voluntarily recalling some 30-ounce containers of Wegman’s Penne Rigate Mozzarella Salad due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The FDA said people with severe sensitivities or allergies to cow’s milk could have life-threatening reactions if ingested.

The recalled Wegmans Penne Rigate Mozzarella Salad was packaged in a plastic container with a top lid label that read Penne Rigate Mozzarella Salad and a side label on the container that read Macaroni Salad.

The recalled product has a code on the lid that reads “3515-2” and “USE BY 06/1/23”.

The recalled pasta salad was packaged in a container labeled as macaroni salad. Macaroni Salad ingredients do not list milk, an allergen found in Penne Rigate Mozzarella Salad.

Customers who purchased products should return them to the store for a full refund.

No illnesses have been reported, according to the FDA.
