A teenage girl, a Hellertown man and a Lucerne County woman have been identified as victims of a SH33 shipwreck

Officials confirmed Wednesday that three people were killed in a five-vehicle crash on Route 33 in Monroe County. One of them was a 14-year-old girl.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office has identified Hellertown’s Brian Franco, 25, as one of two people who died at the crash site on Wednesday. Another was her 14-year-old girl from Wilkes-Barre. The coroner’s office refused to reveal her identity.

Also confirmed dead was Samantha Crick, 40, of Wilkes-Barre, who was pronounced dead Wednesday at 10:14 pm at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. Wrecked.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said Crick died of multiple blunt force injuries and ruled her death was accidental.

State Police said the clash occurred near the Sailorsburg exit in Hamilton Township around 10:37 a.m.

The southbound tow-trailer veered off the freeway’s western shoulder, hit an embankment, reentered the southbound lane, and then crashed through the median guide rail. It crossed the northbound lane and collided with another vehicle.
