A fire broke through a building in Pennsylvania State Park
CLEARFIELD COUNTY, PA (WTAJ) — A fire broke through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation (DCNR) buildings at SB Elliott State Park in Clearfield County.
Lawrence Township Fire Station (LTFD), Company 5, was notified of a working structure fire at approximately 10:50 pm on March 3rd along Old Route 153 near Four Mile Road at the DNCR facility.
A heavy fire was confirmed by the first crew at the scene, and more crew were called in, including rescue hoses and ladders.LTFD said multiple reins were used to handle the blaze.

The crew worked to extinguish the fire for over three hours.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. An investigation by the PSP Fire Marshal is ongoing.
