Wells Fargo said in a statement that he saw people running out of the bank’s front door when he drove. Company spokesman Staci Schiller confirmed the “hostage situation” at the bank’s south branch. She said banking officials are cooperating with local law enforcement agencies and will do everything possible to assist the authorities.
