Blacksburg, Virginia (AP) —A Virginia Tech linebacker has been charged with a fatal beating in a Tinder game and charged with a second murder.

Ishimemen Etute, 18, accused of the death of 40-year-old Jerry Smith in May, was indicted by the grand jury Roanoke Times on Tuesday. report.. The hearing is scheduled for November 18th.

Etute said he visited Smith’s apartment in April after playing against a person named “Angie” on Tinder and returned on May 31 to determine if his match was male or female.
