State College, Pennsylvania () – Do you remember the good old days?
Do you remember the days when you were able to pack into the stadium like sardines, yell at your neighbor’s ears and cheer on your favorite team?
As people are chasing COVID-19 vaccination nationwide, we can expect to see more fans at the stand of the fall college athletic event.
At Big Ten, Rutgers announced the requirements for the COVID-19 vaccine for students to return to face-to-face classes. Pennsylvania State University has not announced such requirements.
Director James Franklin considered the idea that students would demand a vaccine to return.
“Go to Beaver Stadium and show us the flash of Beaver Stadium. If you want to get back to this as soon as possible, this is a useful step. It’s not just Beaver Stadium, but Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Heinz Field, and all these varieties. It’s in a great place, “Franklin said.
“This can be useful if you want to return to your normal daily routine to enjoy professional sports and college athletics.”
