A man in Union City died after an SUV crashed into a tractor trailer in Bloomfield Township.
According to Pennsylvania police, this happened at the intersection of Rockdale Road and King Road at 2:45 pm.
According to the trooper, Ford Escape, driven by a 32-year-old woman, climbed a hill at high speed and hit a truck head-on. She suffered a life-threatening injury, but the husband sitting next to her was declared dead on the scene by Crawford County Coroner Scott Shell.
Two male passengers in the back seats were also injured. One was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a nearby trauma center, and the other was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The semi-driver was unharmed.
The accident is being investigated as a possible drunk driving.
