Second Chance Strays Opens New Altoona Location

Altoona, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) — After nearly two months of closure, Second Chance Strays Cat Rescue & Lounge is back!

Second Chance Strays had its grand opening Saturday at its new location along 1101 13th Avenue.

Second Chance Strays Cat Lounge owner Summer Socie said: There has been a huge turnout so far today for those who have just stopped by. Everyone is really excited to see the cats and so excited to have them in the area. ”

The new location gives them more space to house the cats.It’s about three times the size of the previous building and includes a basement, according to volunteers.
