Police said a man and a woman were shot dead in a car with a victim’s one-year-old child in a residential area of North Philadelphia.
The victims were 20 and 21 years old, respectively, and told police at around 9:37 pm that they were sitting in a car parked in block 2600 on North 27th Avenue when someone fired through a window on the driver’s side.
The man was hit once on the neck and the woman was hit once on the right arm.
Both were taken to Temple University Hospital by paramedics. According to police, the child was sitting in a child seat behind him, but was not injured.
Victims are unable to know who shot them, and investigations are ongoing.
