Breedswood, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) — A section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed overnight this weekend for road construction.

The 86-mile section of the PA Turnpike will be closed westbound from 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24 between Breeswood (Exit 161) and New Stanton (Exit 75). Roads will reopen on Sunday, June 25th around 6am.

Drivers should plan for long detours or avoid the area during this time.

Suggested diversions will be provided for those driving on the Breezewood Interchange.

• Head north on I-99 (30.2 miles).
• Head west on US Route 22 (104.5 miles).
• Take PA Turnpike Route 66 south (22 km).
• Re-merge onto the PA Turnpike (I-76) from the New Stanton Interchange (Exit 75).
