The Evergreen Conservancy will be clearing the streets of Blue Spruce Park on Saturday, October 15th at 9am. We invite volunteers to participate.
Volunteers should park in the parking lot closest to the park office. Volunteers will be provided with garbage bags, gloves and orange vests. Some people prefer to bring their own gloves.
Cleanup includes the Blue Spruce Road from US 110 to the park office. It also includes roads through the park. Due to heavy traffic on the Blue Spruce Road, volunteers will be provided with orange vests and appropriate signs will be posted. Cleanup includes exposure to rough terrain and ticks.
The previous cleanup took less than 2 hours. If you plan to volunteer, please dress appropriately.
