Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Foster, Toby Wallace and Jenna Ortega will appear in “Finestkind”.
The group boarded the cast of Oscar-winning author and director Brian Helgeland’s crime drama. Earlier credits include “Mystic River,” “LA Confidential,” and “Nighttail.”
Helgeland will write and direct a film set up in a commercial fishing port using a camera that will be released in Massachusetts later this month.
The crime film revolves around two brothers, played by Foster and Wallace, who came from the other side of the track and reunited as adults during a fateful summer.
When they sign a deal with a dangerous Boston criminal syndicate, a young woman (Ortega) finds herself trapped in the middle and tests the bond between her brother, friend, and his son’s father, played by Jones. Saw.

The movie will debut in the United States in late 2022 with Paramount + and will also be available on streaming services in Australia, Canada, Latin America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and South Korea.
“Finestkind” is produced by Gary Foster, Las Krasnov, Taylor Sheridan and David C. Grasser. 101 Studios handles overseas sales in other regions.
