CATA Hosts Transportation Fair in Center County

Center County, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) – The Center Regional Transportation Authority (CATA) announced the second annual Center County Accessible Transportation Fair.

The fair will be held at State College’s Nittany Mall on Thursday, June 15 from 1-6:30 p.m. Transit and paratransit vehicles will be on display throughout the day, showcasing services provided by CATA, MTM Transit, the Center County Transit Authority, and the Pennsylvania Transit Service.

“After a successful first year, CATA is looking forward to hosting this event with local partners. said Derek Sherman, CATA ADA/On Demand Program Manager. “We are pleased to work with MTM Transit, Center County Transit Authority, Pennsylvania Transit Service and Nittany Mall on the event to jointly share this information and provide a hands-on experience for attendees. .”

Although the focus of this event is to provide information related to transportation services specific to people with disabilities, anyone is welcome to learn more about services throughout Center County.
