State Representative Injured in Road Accident | Pennsylvania News

After a car accident in Lancaster County on October 6, state representatives were reported to be in serious but stable condition.

Republican Matt Dowling, whose 51st district covers parts of Fayette and Somerset counties, was injured in a single-vehicle accident on his way to a Republican event, party officials said. According to House Republican spokesman Jason Gottesman, Uniontown Dowling, 36, was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was treated for serious trauma.
