Scheduled in Tioga County: Shooting Chapter and Lyme Disease Group Meeting | Outdoors

Tioga County-The Armed Women’s Tioga County Shooting Branch and the Tioga County Lyme Disease Support Group are both meeting on the night of October 21st.

The group will meet at 5:30 pm at the Mill Cove shooting range in the Mill Cove Environmental Area at 3036 Mill Creek Road, Mansfield, Pennsylvania.

Chapter leader Marilyn Jones said, “It will be dark around 7 pm, so it will start 30 minutes earlier than usual.”

“We invite women who are interested in sports shooting. Most of the members own a pistol and want to learn more about how to shoot safely and how to use and store it properly. “

The October 21st program will include a review of hidden carry classes and range safety protocols, followed by a range safety briefing. Stay up-to-date on other events such as NRA dinners and auctions, CPR classes, bus trips, and the last two basic pistol classes.

Lyme disease support group

The purpose of this group is to share disease management ideas and encourage each other. The organizer of the conference is Michelle Rockwood of Wellsboro, a member of the group. She leads a supportive debate about Lyme disease and coinfection.

The group meeting will take place at 6:30 pm at the Warehouse Theater next to Native Bagels at 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro. This conference is free and open to the public.
