Two more women are suing Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Houston’s KPRC2 and CBS Sports reported on Monday.
Attorney Tony Busby said he would file a 25th proceeding “soon,” according to CBS, but after seeing some of Watson’s whistleblowers talk about HBO’s “Real Sports and Bryant Gumbel.” Yet another woman came before him.
All the women claim that Watson committed sexual injustice during the massage process. He denied all charges, and two Texas grand juries refused to file criminal charges against Watson earlier this year.
Browns bought Watson from the Houston Texans in a March transaction and gave him a $ 230 million deposit in a five-year transaction.
The New York Times reported last week that Watson met at least 66 female massage therapists in 17 months while playing for the Houston Texans.
Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, recently admitted that Watson had sexually contacted three women, but claimed that all such cases had reached an agreement.
The NFL continued to investigate Watson and recently closed an interview with the quarterback. Although no criminal charges have been filed, the league may suspend Watson for violating the league’s personal standards of conduct.
