Pittsburgh’s AAA office removed under threat of bomb

Pittsburgh (KDKA) —The AAA office in Baum Boulevard has been removed under the threat of a bomb.

Public security in Pittsburgh said 18 people had been evacuated from the building after being threatened at 6:45 pm on Saturday. Authorities said the caller had a bomb inside the East Liberty building.

Police used the K9 to check the building, and the bomb corps responded to clear the scene around 9:30 pm. Authorities said nothing was found.

Vehicles and pedestrians have resumed traffic in the area, according to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.
