Police continue search for Michael Barham, deemed ‘armed and dangerous’

(WJET/WFXP/YourErie.com) — Jamestown Police have released new information about a reported incident in Jamestown early Thursday morning.

Police in Jamestown, N.Y., along with Pennsylvania police on Friday, continue their search for Michael Barham, who is being questioned in connection with the murder of 34-year-old Jamestown resident Kara Hodgkin. Jamestown police confirmed Barham as a suspect in the murder Friday night.

Jamestown Police say Barham is armed and potentially dangerous. Members of the public have been asked to stay away from him and report any sightings to the local police.

He is a 34-year-old, 160-pound man believed to be somewhere in the Jamestown, New York or Warren, Pennsylvania area.

Jamestown Police said they were led to the truck by an anonymous caller at 6 p.m. Thursday after receiving an early Thursday alarm about a truck that Barham may have been driving.
