Harrisburg (KDKA) – In Pennsylvania, users can now apply for unemployment benefits over the phone.
The Pennsylvania Teleclaims system is currently active and will replace the old phone filing system as part of the system-wide upgrade that began this week.
The new online filing system still resolves bugs, but leaders are in the process of resolving them.
Some users have stated that they are seeing an error in their payment selection options.
“Payments will continue to be made in the correct way, regardless of whether the screen shows a debit. Therefore, if you see this wrong method, keep ignoring it while resolving this issue. You can, “said Jennifer Berrier, acting secretary general. Ministry of Labor and Industry. “It doesn’t affect your payment.”
As of Thursday, more than 168,000 people have successfully applied for benefits using the new system.
