Pennsylvania State University Jordan Stout Selected for Big Tempanter of the Year

The Pennsylvania State University Senior Jordan Stout, who drilled at least 50 yards of 25 kicks, was named the Big Ten Panther of the Year on Tuesday.

Stout was voted by the conference coach and media panel to join Nitani Lions defensive end Arnold Eviqueti and Safety Jacques Ambrisker to the first team of All Big Ten.

Nine other Pennsylvania State University players on the defense and special teams also received the All Big Ten awards.

Stout is one of the three finalists of the Reigai Award for Top Panthers in the United States. He averages 46.6 yards with 62 kicks this season, allowing only a 33-yard return. He is the main reason Pennsylvania State University is ranked second in the nation in Netpunt (45.08).

He dropped 34 punts within the 20-yard line of his Pennsylvania State University opponent. He is on track to set school records for the season average and career average (44.8).

Stout also received the prestigious mention of All Big Ten as a kicker.

Ebiketie, a senior and transfer from Temple, led the conference and is ranked 7th in the nation with 17 tackles including 9.5 sack. He tackled losing eight games in a row. He also has eight quarterback rushes, two forced fumbles and two blocked kicks.

Brisker, a senior and transferred from Rakkawana (junior college), is the fourth on the team and has 64 tackles, including a loss of 5.5. He also has two pass cuts, one fumble recovery and five pass breakups.

Pennsylvania state linebackers Ellis Brooks and Defensive Harness PJ Mustifer missed the second half of the season due to a knee injury and were voted by the coach for a second team and received prestigious media mention.

Safety Ji’Ayir Brown, cornerback Joey Porter Jr., linebacker Brandon Smith, and return specialist Jahan Dotson have been nominated by the coach as the third team and received prestigious media mention.

Defensive end Jesse Luceta was voted for the third team by the media and received prestigious mention from the coach.

Cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields and linebacker Curtis Jacobs received prestigious mention.

Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan’s defensive end, has been named Defensive Player of the Year and Defensive Brineman of the Year.

Leoshnal of Wisconsin was selected as the Linebacker of the Year. Riley Moss of Iowa is a defensive back of the year. Jake Moody the Kicker of the Year in Michigan. Charlie Jones of Iowa is this year’s Return Specialist.

Mel Tucker of Michigan State University, who led Sparta to a 10-2 record, was named the Coach of the Year by his fellow coaches and media panel.

The All Big Ten attack team and awards will be announced Wednesday with the Freshman of the Year.
