Pa. Game Commission Announces Sunday Hunting Day 2022

Pittsburgh (KDKA)-The Pennsylvania Game Commission has announced a hunting day this Sunday.

Hunters will be able to go out on November 13, 20 and 27 this year. It is illegal to hunt on Sundays except for foxes, crows and coyotes.

The Game Rating and Administration added that it upholds Senate Bill 607, which gives full authority to regulate Sunday hunting.

Governor Tom Wolfe Sign the bill in 2019 This allowed hunting three Sundays a year. One was the rifle deer season, one was the archery deer season, and the third was chosen by the Game Rating and Administration Committee. According to Wolff, the law balances the needs of landowners while expanding the opportunities for hunters to work or attend school that week.
