Earlier this month, Hatboro Horsham graduate and now Villanova freshman Devon Comer participated in a 1,500-meter run at Princeton-sponsored Sam Howell Invitational.
The comber ran unconnected and raced in 3 minutes 51.58 seconds.
Comber is off to a strong start with’Nova. Returning to the indoor season, he recorded a personal best of 8: 20.85 at 3,000.
While in Hatboro, he set 1,600, 3,200, and 5,000 school records.
Cheltenham graduate Malcolm Garbutt makes an important contribution in Delaware.
The freshman ran in the 2nd place 4×400 relay, which finished at 3: 18.24 at Towson Invitational.
Earlier, at the University of Mary Washington opener to start the spring season, Garbat raced to finish second at 800 at 1: 58.92.
Upper Dublin graduate and University of South Carolina freshman Jaden Price-Whitehead finished the indoor season with a 21-foot, 2.5-inch jump to 19th place as a freshman in the indoor championship.
Price-When the gamecock goes outdoors, Whitehead should have enough experience in jumping.
Another Upper Dublin graduate, Oklahoma’s Senior Madison Langley Walker, finished third in the high jump at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational earlier this month.
Langley Walker is set for a big senior season.
She is already the program’s record holder in the 400 hurdles (57.40) and finished 19th in the 2021 Olympic Trial.
