Bobby East was stabbed to death at the age of 37.
A former NASCAR driver and three-time US Auto Club National Champion died on Wednesday (13.07.22) with a “serious chest injury” and was identified as Bobby on Saturday.
A police statement said: Police officers attempted lifesaving measures until OCFA rescue personnel arrived and transferred the victims to a local trauma center. The victim was injured there. The identity of the victim is suspended until the next relative is notified. “
Westminster police later revealed that the suspected murder was killed in a shooting involving police officers.
After the incident, the US Automobile Club identified Bobby and issued a statement in honor of his tragic posthumous “prolific driver.”
USAC tweeted. “One of the most prolific drivers of his time, the three-time USAC National Champion Driver at the USAC Silver Crown and Midget, Bobby East died Wednesday night. He was only 37 years old. Our team is incredible. It’s sad to know today’s news about Bobby East. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. “
Bobby is surviving by his wife Nata Shazul, who married in October 2019, and his three-year-old son, parents Bob and Janice, and sister Rosa.
