Montgomery County Launches Campaign Sign Recycling Site – Mainline Media News

Voters may not yet know who won the local elections, but they do know what they can do with the campaign sign.

The Montgomery County Recycling Office is calling on residents to recycle the campaign sign instead of sending it to landfills. On Wednesday, the county announced 15 sites for residents to drop campaign signs for recycling.

Each site will accept campaign signs during normal business hours from Wednesday, November 3rd to Monday, November 8th. The campaign sign recycling drop-off sites are listed below in alphabetical order.

  • Abington Township Highway Yard, 2201 Florey Lane, Abington
  • Cheltenum Township Public Works, 8101 Old York Road, Elkins Park
  • College Building City Hall Autonomous Region, 491 East Main St., College Building
  • Douglass Township Building, 1320 East Philadelphia Avenue, Gilbertsville
  • Hatfield Township Building, 1950 School Road, Hatfield
  • Horsham Township Municipal Building, 1025 Horsham Road, Horsham
  • Lower Melion Transfer Station, 1300 North Woodbine Ave., Penvalley
  • Lower Providence Township Public Works, 500 Church Road, Eagle Building
  • Lower Salford Township Township, 379 Main Street, Harleysville
  • Montgomery Township Administration Building, 1001 Stump Road, Montgomeryville
  • One Montgomery Plaza (behind the building), 408 Cherry St., Norristown (in the parking lot adjacent to the building)
  • Upper Dublin Township Library, 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington
  • Upper Gwined Township Pool Parking 1, Parkside Place, North Wales
  • Whitemarsh Township Administration Building, 616 West Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill
  • Whitpain Township Administration Building, 960 Wentz Road, Blue Bell
