She began her weather forecasting career at WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio, and then reported and anchored weather and news at stations in Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Ohio. .. Christine loves to report news and talk about people, but her true love is the weather forecast.
She completed her meteorology study at Mississippi State University. She is an award-winning reporter and was nominated for an Emmy for her work on her 2011 deadly tornado in Alabama.
Over the years, she has reported everything from politics to sports to medicine, covering all kinds of weather events you can imagine, including floods, snowstorms, storms, landslides, tornadoes, and hurricanes. She cites Florida Hurricane Andrew as one of her most memorable stories.
She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association and has a sign of approval from both. Christine, also a Fellow of the RIAS Berlin Commission through RTDNA, was reported by Germany on the 60th anniversary of Berlin air transport, the issues surrounding the reunification of Germany and the formation of the European Union.
When not forecasting the weather, Christine enjoys skiing, scuba diving and golfing outside. Christine’s favorite hobbies are traveling and following the Pittsburgh and WVU sports teams.
