Employee injured by stray bullet in fatal double shot outside bar – NBC10 Philadelphia

A bar employee was shot with a stray gun Wednesday night when someone shot and killed a man outside the Lone Crest store, according to Philadelphia police.

Philadelphia Police Lieutenant Scott Small said the shooting occurred around 9:32 p.m. on the 3800 block of Rising Sun Avenue.

Small said a 26-year-old man was shot in the chest and both legs. Officers took him to the hospital, but he died about ten minutes later.

A 28-year-old worker who was taking a rest outside was hit in the hip by a stray bullet, Small said. Someone took him to the hospital in a private car, where he stabilized.

Police said no arrests have been made.
