The Chancel Choir of the St. John’s United Christian Church will sing “Grant Us Thy Peace” by Felix Mendelssohn at 10:15 am on May 22nd. The church is located on Lansdale’s Main Street 500W. Montco Bible Fellowship, 160 E. Main St., Lansdale offers virtual services (accessed from the website) and face-to-face services every Sunday. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main Street, North Wales will communion at 10 am in the sanctuary on Sunday, May 22nd. This service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend directly. Mask is optional. The guest Rev. is Rev. Mike Carlson, who plays Liz Allan’s music. The Thrift Shop is open Wednesday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. There are many parking lots. The entrance on the corner of the church and 2nd Avenue in North Wales.

Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church PC (USA), 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale: The service will be streamed live within the Sanctuary or via Zoom using an internet-enabled device, or over the phone. Gwined Square Presbyterian Church, 837 Samnytown Pike, Landsdale is offering its 10th plant sale in the shade opposite the office from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, May 28th. Perennial plants (sometimes foliage plants) donated by church members and friends. Gardening-minded members can help you choose the best plant for your location. Revenues benefit the church’s capital fund.

The Episcopal Church in Harleysville, on 2871 Barndt Road, on the corner of Samnytown Pike in Upper Salford, offers face-to-face communion on Sundays at 8 am and 10:15 am. The Church will also continue to livestream the Eucharist service on Sundays at 10:15 am on the Church’s website and Facebook page, the Church of the Holy Spirit in Harliesville. The service will be led by Pastor Kathy Andnian, the district foreman, and supported by staff, parish and choir members. The Gwined Square Presbyterian Church will reopen the Ministry of Hiking on Saturday, May 28, 2022. The Ministry of Hiking runs from the 4th Saturday of every month to October. The group will meet at the church at 8:30 am and return by 11:00 am. The hike is about 4 miles long and there is a short devoted time along the way. Within 30 minutes from the church, there are various trails every month. Hiking is open to anyone who wants to participate in exercise, fresh air, dating, and getting closer to God and His creations. This month’s hike will take place at the Green Lane Reservoir. Hikers can meet at church at 8:30 or park at Young’s Petroleum (with permission) at 9 and meet with groups across the street to start hiking. The road is either paved or crushed gravel, there is no dirt road, and it is in a shaded and open environment. The walk will be about 3 miles.
