Marcus Mumford has announced his next tour.
The 35-year-old Mumford and Sons frontman will release his debut solo album “Self-Title” on September 16th, and will begin his North American tour on September 19th in Boulder, Colorado three days later.
The tour will include more shows in Denver, Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles in September, and to Ventura, California, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Portland, New York and Boston in October and November. Move
The final show will take place on November 10th in Toronto, Canada.
Danielle Ponder will open in Mumford from September 19th to October 14th with A’s support from October 17th to November 10th.
Headline tours in the UK and Ireland will continue in mid-November.
Meanwhile, Manford recently revealed that Steven Spielberg directed his first solo music video.
Music is now the iconic filmmaker known for his legendary big-screen career working on franchises such as “ET the Extra-Terrestrial,” “Schindler’s List,” “Jurassic Park,” and “Indiana Jones.”
The 75-year-old director directed the video for Manford’s new single “Cannibal.”
Marcus revealed on Twitter that Spielberg used his cell phone to create “one-shot” films, and filmmaker’s wife Kate Capshaw was also on the set.
He writes: “On Sunday, July 3, at a high school gym in New York, Steven Spielberg directed his first music video to his phone in one shot. The Kate Capshow was an all-powerful dolly grip.
“I am overwhelmed by the support of those around me to deliver this music, and I cannot express my gratitude.
“When people get it, it blows my heart away. Kate and Stephen just got it, and I can’t thank them enough.”
