Pittsburgh (KDKA)-Sunday was a great day to go out and walk. That’s what hundreds of people did on the North Shore.
March for Baby has raised funds for the March of Dimes to support healthy moms and babies.
The goal was to raise $ 1 million as part of this year’s walk.
“We are fighting for the health of all mothers and babies,” said Jim Hogan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes in western Pennsylvania. “We are here to help those who have experienced loss, premature birth, etc. We are here to celebrate all the babies who are healthy and with us.”
KDKA’s Christine Sorensen has been the moderator for over a decade.
After virtualizing during the pandemic, she was back at hand when the walk returned face-to-face.
