The Hydroponic Farm at Methacton High School has a huge impact on students and the community.

Students at Mesakton High School grow vegetables in an unlikely place, a crate for transportation. It is called a hydroponic farm. Inside the transport crate, the plants use a mineral-rich water system to grow vertically side by side without soil. LED lighting is built into the wall to provide an ideal environment and promote growth time. The plant moves from seed to harvest in just 7 weeks. This is one of the school’s new STEM Innovation Labs, which is part of the environmental science and biology curriculum. An elected group of six students is part of the Pioneer team and has been growing on the farm since January. Currently, over 70 students are requesting autumn classes. So far, they have grown a variety of lettuce, herbs, cucumbers and tomatoes.

Bryce Harper’s designated prognosis is now much longer

Phillies manager George Girardi said, “I’m looking forward to tomorrow,” about Bryce Harper’s missing bat in Wednesday’s three-game lineup. Girardi’s hopes for Harper’s return have been much longer when it comes to being listed as an MIA in the right field where Harper last played on April 16. Girardi reported the news that Harper’s doctor “recommended six weeks without throwing to give him more time to work the blood he put in there” before the Padres match on Wednesday night.

Eagles signs Giants cast-off corner, James Bloodbury

The Eagles upgraded their cornerback position on Wednesday by agreeing to the terms of a one-year contract with James Bradberry released by the New York Giants in a cap-cut measure. Bradbury (6-1, 212) made the Pro Bowl after intercepting three passes in the 2020 season. However, due to COVID, the game was not played.

The Miami calendar sees it as a series of unwinning wins.

On Wednesday night, there was a long inaudible sound around Chester in Subaru Park. They were, very clearly, boos from a paid crowd of 15,474 people. And for the first time in a while, they were honestly directed to the home team. Union seemed to be dead early and punchless late in a 0-0 draw with Inter Miami. This is a six-game in a row with no wins, a five-game draw (5-1-6, 21 points) in a row, and should be an inferior opponent.
