Brothers Tyler Seidel and Colin Seidel, and Bartnicki are each eligible for WATL tournaments. Top pitchers from around the world have competed in leagues, tournaments, invitations and circuit events, won bids and were invited to the biggest ax throwing tournament of the year.

Tyler Saidel is pumped up.

“I’m excited to go to Texas and show everyone what I have,” he said. “Many people have doubted me, but I’ll show you what one of the best ax throwers in the world looks like.”

The top 128 ax throwers are eligible to compete for the $ 50,000 prize pool. At the culmination, the top four finish throwers will play live at ESPN on Saturday, December 12th at 2:00 pm.

Each of the three Splitting Edge Throwers will participate in the single “Standard Hatchet” tournament. Brothers Saidel will also participate in “dual” tournaments on the same weekend.

Tyler “The Kid” Saidel set a world record for points in his first year-round ax throwing session this summer’s pitching session and then began breaking his own record in the fall season.

Of the 1,792 points possible this fall season, he scored 1,703. He is only 89 points away from the perfect season and broke the summer world record of 1,693 points.

“As a group, we look forward to the opportunity to showcase our talents,” said Bartnicki.

Splitting Edge officially opened on July 12, 2020. In honor of the past, according to Michael Majewski Jr., the throwing space recycled and reused materials from a variety of locations, including demolition of old buildings, wooden pallets, and flea markets. A qualified coaching guide will accompany all pitchers and accommodate all skill levels. Team building, corporate events, birthday parties and date nights are all welcomed by BYOF and BYOB facilities.

Safety is emphasized, pitching skills are taught, the game is adjusted and the score is maintained by the coach.

“Before you know it, they’re throwing bourgie and having a great time,” Bartiniicki said. “There is a great environment here and all coaches are friendly.”
