Pennsylvania Senate Election Leaves Fetterman, Oz Statistically Tie in New Poll

(WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Senate election remains statistically tied between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Mehmet Oz. Trafalgar Group poll.

A poll of 1,078 potential voters in Pennsylvania put Fetterman at 47.2%, Oz at 44.8% and libertarian Eric Gerhardt at 3.4%.

More than 4% said they were undecided or in favor of another candidate, with a margin of error of 2.9%.

One of Fetterman’s largest constituencies was among voters ages 25-34, with 63% approval. She also had double-digit support among women (51.2%) and African-Americans (53.4%) than Oz, who had majority support among Hispanic voters.

Oz took the lead in most of the populated areas of central and northern Pennsylvania, including the Harrisburg, Altoona, and Scranton areas. Fetterman’s support was primarily in Erie, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.

Fetterman and Oz will face off in the only scheduled debate on October 25th at the abc27 studios in Harrisburg. The debate will be broadcast and streamed in all 67 counties.
