Lakayia McNair of Campbell, Ohio, has been charged with assault and domestic violence after hitting a man with a paper towel holder.

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) — A woman has been charged after hitting a man in the head with a paper towel holder.

Campbell police were called to a house on the 100th block of Jackson Street around 9 a.m. Saturday morning for a report of a man being assaulted.

When they arrived at the scene, officers found “a lot” of blood on the home’s kitchen floor and, according to reports, the man was also covered in blood and had a large cut on his forehead.

Nineteen-year-old Rakaia McNair was arrested at the scene and charged with assault and domestic violence.

According to reports, the two were arguing when McNair picked up an aluminum paper towel holder and hit him on the head with it.

McNair is currently being held without bail in Mahoning County Jail and is due to appear in court on March 21 at 9:00 am.
